Singha Panasonic All Thailand Championship 2016

Thanyakorn brings home victory.

Chon Buri, Sept 8 : Thanyakorn Khrongpha’s three-year-title drought  ended thanks to his win at the three-million baht Singha Panasonic All Thailand Championship at the Laem Chabang International Country Club.

Khon Kaen-born Thanyakorn,26, carded a 5-under-66 in the final round at the par-71 course in Chon Buri.  A total of 18-under-266 earned him a three-stork victory, which was his first win in the All Thailand Golf Tour since turning professional in 2010.

In 2013,  Thanyakorn swept three titles on Thai PGA Tour to finish on the top of the money list.  Apart from the winner’s checque of Bt450,000, Thanyakorn received the TH-49DX650T Panasonic TV worth of Bt33,000.

Venezuela’s Wolmer Murillo of Venezuela finished second with four shots behind the champion while Udorn Duangdecha, who fired four birdies and  two bogeys,  came in third on 14-under- 270. Udorn also got a consolation prize with a place into the Panasonic Open in Japan next year.
 

One stroke behind was Pijit Petchkasem (68) who got 139,500 baht. 

Thaworn Wiratchant (67) and Teerawat Kaewsiribandit (68) tied for fifth on    11-under-273 and earned 102,375 baht each. 


The low amateur was Thanapat Pichaikul,16, who has a total of one-over-par-285.
