Wachirawit takes three-shots lead into final round of Q-school 1st stage

Wachirawit Saoron fired six birdies, a bogey and a double bogey for a 3-under 68 in the third round of the first stage of the All Thailand Golf Tour’s qualifying school in Nakhon Nayok on Thursday.

He was on 8-under, three shots ahead of overnight joint leader Borworn Chaisri (72).

Paiboon Phumkliang (73) and. Weera Salangam (73) shared third on 3-under while Parama Chansue, who shared the lead with Borworn after two rounds, struggled with a 77 to share 6th.

Chang Hsui-chi of Taiwan (73), Calum Juniper of Australia (74) and Kyle Lucas of South Africa (75) were tied for 23rd.

The top-55 players and ties will qualify for the final stage to be played at the same venue next week.
